If you’re a fan of Thai culture, Thai food and ‘Made in Thailand’ products, you’ll love the Mini Thailand Weekrunning from 6-9 July. Held at New Wing, Lower Ground of One Utama Shopping Centre from 10am to 10pm, visitors will be privy to an exciting range of products and services from our northern neighbours. The ninth edition of this fair is themed ‘Urban Lifestyle’, which is reflected in the product showcases. It’s an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to explore new import opportunities in Thai houseware, fashion accessories, food and beverage as well as health and wellness products. There’s even a Business Matchingsession for importers and traders to build trade relationships. Naturally, regular visitors will also have the chance to pick up everything from costume jewellery and herbal remedies to freeze dried fruits and wooden household decorations. Besides that, you’ll also be treated to traditional Thai performances and activities to showcase Thailand's culture.
The highlight of the events will be a wooden art board painting demonstration by renowned Thai artist, Tanupon En-On. You can even buy a board for RM20 and have Tanupon guide you through painting your very own souvenir! And if you post your board up on the Mini Thailand Week Facebook page with the hashtag #minithailandweek2017, you'll get a special surprise from the Department of International Trade Promotion under Thailand's Ministry of Commerce.
